Meghan’s old home in LA just went up for sale at a price of 1.8 million dollars. We definitely aren’t potential buyers, but we are so here for the pictures. Keep scrolling to see what a home fit for a (future) Duchess looks like.
From 2011-2013 Meghan Markle was married to film director Trevor Engelson. According to the New York Observer the ex-couple rented this LA home when Meghan was filming Suits and lived mainly in Toronto. Even if Meghan didn’t live here for long, one thing is certain from looking at these pictures. The Duchess of Sussex was living royally before receiving her title.
The 2,262-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open floor plan, hardwood floors, outdoor dining, and even a two-car garage. The colonial home was built in 1924 and is located in the nice Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The front yard of this beautiful two-story home is packed with a West Coast staple: Palm Trees. As Meghan grew up in the sunny Southern California, we are sure this plant made her feel right at home when she returned from Suits filming sessions in Toronto.
While Meghan Markle was living in this home she was also actively running her old lifestyle blog The Tig. According to Vanity Fair, the overall aesthetic of her blog was bright and fresh colors. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that her living spaces had a similar theme of aesthetically pleasing bright colors.
It is a well-known fact that Meghan Markle loves to cook. She released her own community cookbook for charity and is known for cooking homemade meals for Prince Harry and Archie almost every day. Considering that she cooks as royalty with countless other options, we are sure this sleek kitchen got lots of use from Markle.
Meghan kept her master bedroom simple and bright. The overall aesthetic is somewhat similar to the theme of her living rooms and old blog. We also can’t help but recognize the abundant wood floors. Because Meghan is a known yogi, we can’t help but think Meghan did her morning yoga in here.
This luxurious master bathroom is complete with a double vanity and mosaic styled floors. We also love the touches of gold throughout the room. The Duchess of Sussex most definitely had a bathroom that matches her current title.
Meghan Markle has always been an avid dog lover. When she was living in this home the massive grass yard was surely a hit with her furry friends. We can just imagine the games of fetch that must have taken place out here.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently reside across the pond, rumors are circulating that the couple may be purchasing an LA home. A source told The Sun, “Ultimately, she is a California girl and can breathe easier there. Hollywood is in her DNA and I think it is where she has always wanted to keep a solid footing.” Will Meghan Markle find a new home in the sunny Los Angeles? Only time will tell.
