Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, landed in the news this week. He publicly regrets his absence at his grandson Archie Harrison’s royal christening on Saturday at Windsor Castle. And now he’s speaking out.
Thomas wasn’t invited to baby Archie’s private ceremony. There’s known bad blood between he and his daughter. However, he told The Daily Mail that “of course” he would have loved to be there.
“I was an altar boy at age 12, a confirmed member of the Queen’s church at age 14, and Archie is my new grandson, so of course I would have enjoyed being there for the blessing, wishing Archie and his family health and happiness,” he said.
His statement above was made after the release of Instagram photos from the christening.
