It’s summer time and for the Duchess of Sussex that means spending lots of time with baby Archie and of course a royal vacation or two. On Meghan’s old blog, The Tig, she shared her favorite books and summer traditions that come with them. Let’s take a look at some Meghan Markle approved books.
This is one of Meghan’s go-to summer reads because she says “it’s light and fun, and exactly what I want when I’m laying on a beach.” The book is about an American girl living in paris who lives “wildly and fully.”
Meghan loves this book so much one of her favorite summer pastimes is “opening pages and finding little flecks of sand from vacations past.” We’re sure this book will be tagging along on Meghan’s royal vacations this summer, like an expected trip to the Queen’s Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
This novel just hit the big screens in a movie starring Cate Blanchett. The reading recommendation came from one of Meghan’s good friends Benita Litt, “an avid reader.” In her blog Meghan explained that Benita “knows that during the summer it’s nice to escape with a book that just makes you laugh. Guffaw, even. This is that book.” We definitely need to give this one a read.
This New York Times best seller and Pulitzer Prize winner also gained the favor of our favorite Duchess of Sussex. The intense memoir follows a young and idealistic neurosurgeon who looks to answer a tough question. What makes a life worth living? This book made an appearance on Meghan’s Instagram as something to read while flying! This book will definitely be in our carry-on bags.
