Here’s where a big bulk of the budget went in Meghan and Harry’s home renovation.
Prior to remodeling, there was only a sign marked ‘private’ at the entrance of Frogmore Cottage. Members of the public were free to walk around the grounds of the house. However, with the Royals moving in, it was necessary to increase security. New walls were built around the home, and around $317,000 was spent on security inside the building. The couple also spent $25,000 planting trees and outdoor plants to increase the general security and privacy of their new home.
