According to tabloids this week, Prince Harry isn’t the only one coming to Meghan Markle’s defense. The media has nit-picked everything about the Royals, including their parenting, but Kim Kardashian was quick to say that nobody’s perfect when it comes to being a parent.

Kim, who has been the target of public scrutiny since her coming-to-fame in the early 2000s, knows exactly what it feels like to have all eyes on her. The reality TV star spoke at the 2019 Armenia Technology Convention in Yerevan and expressed her support for the Royals.

“No one’s going to be perfect,” she said, “I think that everyone makes their own choices and decisions. And I think that, like I said, no one’s going to be perfect. I’m not, they’re not. I don’t know who is.”

As usual, the media took note that Kim shed light on the Duke and Duchess’ efforts to highlight important causes. Their appearance on a series of PSAs for NHS’s new Every Mind Matters initiative compelled Kim to say they’re “changing the world.”

In-between prepping for the bar and studying criminal law, she’s defending Meghan and Harry.

“I still love and value the fact they bring such attention to such important movements that need to happen and things that they’re really passionate about,” says the mom of four.

It’s been a slow and steady fight between Meghan and the media. While the royals want their media-presence to be positive, it doesn’t always work in their favor. Earlier in October, Meghan said she was suing the UK’s Mail on Sunday for publishing private correspondence with her father, Thomas Markle.

Prince Harry had a lot say about the media’s efforts to embark on a royal-bullying campaign. In a personal statement, Harry said that the freedom of the press is a “cornerstone of democracy,” but he feared “history repeating itself.”

The Duke highlighted his late mother’s experience with the tabloids, “I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditized to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person,” he wrote, “I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.”

We doubt the Royals are keeping tabs on Kim, but she sure is keeping an eye out for Meghan and Harry. Seems like Kim loves Meghan Markle too.
