Just six months after the arrival of baby Archie, could there be another little Sussex on the way? It sounds like Meghan and Harry are already thinking about baby number two, and they’re asking some friendly neighbors for advice.
The subject came up when Meghan and Harry made a surprise appearance at a coffee meetup for military families. The Broom Farm Community Center hosts these weekly events in Windsor, just a little ways from the Sussexes’ home at Frogmore Cottage.
At the event, Meghan and Harry spent time mingling with the families. One attendee, military wife Susie Stringfellow, talked with Harry about expanding the family. “Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children,” Stringfellow said. “We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby.” It sounds like the idea of a new family addition is on the Duke’s mind!
The pair also shared some adorable news about baby Archie. Speaking to a little girl at the event, Meghan said, “look at all your little teeth! Archie’s just got two teeth — two tiny ones right there.” According to army wife Amy Thompson, “Harry was saying how little Archie was starting to crawl, how they’ve started eating different foods, [making] all the funny faces.” It sounds like our favorite little royal is growing up fast!
The attendees were elated to meet the royal couple, who chatted with other parents about raising families. “We talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl,” Thompson said of her conversation with Meghan. “She’s just a normal mum, and it was like talking to a friend.” Meghan even spent time talking and playing with the kids in attendance. “Meghan promised not to tell anyone that I was off school,” said 8-year-old Molly Smith. “It was an amazing experience for Molly to shake hands with them,” added her mother Leigh. “It’s really special and a lovely boost for the whole community.”
